Raj Kumar had phones of Aarushi, Hemraj: CBI to court
The CBI has said Raj Kumar had broken and subsequently hidden the mobile phone of Aarushi and can also get the 'Khukri' used in the crime recovered.
The CBI, while producing Raj Kumar before Special magistrate Sapna Mishra, submitted that the domestic help of Durranis' had "confessed" under section 161 of CrPC (not admissible in the court) that he would help the agency recover the mobile phones of the murder victims Aarushi and Hemraj.
The agency made this claim before the designated court after which Raj Kumar was remanded to 14 days CBI custody for a detailed interrogation.
"I have perused the case diary. Accused in his statement under Section 161 of the CrPC has confessed that after switching off Aarushi's mobile phone, he had broken and hidden the same which he can get recovered. The accused also said that he can help in the recovery of Hemraj's mobile phone from a secret place besides the Khukri," the order said.
The CBI had on Friday arrested Raj Kumar after the forensic examination of his "washed" T-shirt opined that it contains traces of human blood.
