Rains lash parts of Punjab, Haryana bringing relief to people

CHANDIGARH: In a relief to people from sultry weather conditions, rains lashed parts of Punjab and Haryana including Chandigarh.

Chandigarh was lashed by moderate showers yesterday. It was rainy in the Union Territory today as well.

In Haryana, Ambala, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra and Panchkula, were among other places to be lashed by rains.

Amritsar, Mohali, Patiala and Ropar in Punjab also received rains.

According to the MeT Department here, light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur at many places in Punjab and Haryana tomorrow also.
