NEW DELHI: Rain in Delhi and nearby areas yet again caused flooding problems this morning after incessant rain and thunderstorms.

The National Capital was hit by heavy rains in the wee hours of Tuesday. Lightening and heavy rains were reported around Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, Teen Murti Bhavan and RK Puram among other areas.

Though the temperature dropped down, the rains caused flooding and water logging in different areas causing traffic jams. People took to Twitter to express their hardships and shared pictures and videos to show the state of the city with the #DelhiRains.

@Shreya_Sagwal tweets, "My dear google maps, the zero traffic route you’ve led me on to has zero traffic because it’s submerged in water 2 feet deep."

@SwamiGeetika addressed the issue with a sarcastic tone pointing to the AAP CM Arvind Kejriwal saying, "CM Kejriwal provides Free Swimming pools for people of Delhi this season. Yet another reason for Delhites to vote for Aam Aadmi Party!"
