When the Narendra Modi government is celebrating India's big leap of 30 spots in the World Bank's Ease of Doing Business rankings, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today mocked the progress.

Parodying a popular couplet by Urdu poet Mirza Ghalib, Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet that everyone knows the reality of ease of doing business and that the improved ranking is good only for making Finance Minister Arun Jaitley happy.

The tweet has now over 4,000 retweets and 9,550 likes.

During a rally in Gujarat today, Rahul Gandhi said that there is nothing like ease of doing business in India as GST and demonetisation have ruined the businesses.
