Rahul Gandhi's detention an attack on democracy: Delhi Congress
Gandhi was detained twice by Delhi Police while trying to meet the family members of ex-servicemen Ram Kishan Grewal.

Gandhi was detained twice by Delhi Police while trying to meet the family members of ex-servicemen Ram Kishan Grewal who allegedly committed suicide over then One Rank One Pension (OROP) issue yesterday.
" Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee strongly condemns the illegal detention of Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi by Delhi Police. In an unprincipled Goondaraj, it's a blatant attack on democracy," chief spokesperson of Delhi Congress Sharmistha Mukherjee told reporters.
She alleged that Rahul was prevented from meeting the sons and family members of Subedar Ram Kishan Grewal at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital today and was "illegally" detained by the police.
"This act of the Delhi Police is not only an attack on democracy but also shows how the dictatorial Modi government at the Centre is destroying democratic principle and values," she said in a statement.
