Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' - spanning the country, from Kashmir-to-Kanyakumari - is set to begin its Telangana leg on October 24.

Gandhi is reportedly going to walk 366 km in the southern state, according to Balram Naik, former union minister and Coordinator for Telangana for the Yatra. The leader will cover four Lok Sabha constituencies and nine Assembly segments, starting off from Makthal in Mahbubnagar.

"The march will enter Telangana on October 24. It will cover four Lok Sabha constituencies and nine Assembly constituencies. The total distance covered would be 366 KM," Naik told PTI.

Ahead of the 2023 Assembly polls, the Yatra is a massive undertaking for the Congress, with sources expecting the event to give the national party a mighty push.

The Congress on Monday said the 150-day Bharat Jodo Yatra from September 7 covering 3,500 kms will be the party's biggest ever 'Jan Sampark' programme and Rahul Gandhi will walk "all the way" from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
