Rahul Gandhi travels to Kerala in budget airline; poses for photos

NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi today travelled by a budget airline to Thiruvananthapuram, mingling with passengers and posing for photos with them.

Interestingly, the flight from Delhi was not a direct one but via Mumbai.

Three Congress MPs K C Venugopal, K Suresh and Shashi Tharoor were accompanying Gandhi to participate in a rally organised by the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee.

One of the leaders accompanying the Congress Vice President said that he preferred the ferry bus service offered by the airline despite the fact that a car was ready on the tarmac to take him.
