Rahul Gandhi to kick-start Congress poll campaign in Assam on November 26

GUWAHATI: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is set to kick-start the party’s campaign for 2016 assembly polls in Assam on November 26, when he is due to arrive in the state for a two-day visit, party members said.

"We will start our poll campaign with Rahul Gandhi’s visit," Pradesh Congress Committee president Anjan Dutta told ET.

Gandhi is scheduled to address party workers in Guwahati, where the local unit is in the process of finalising other places that the party scion will visit during his tour.
