Rahul Gandhi says 15 people close to Modi controlling the country

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday claimed that the country was being run by 15 to 20 Industrialists who were close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Congress Vice- President also alleged that the demonetisation exercise was simply an exercise to ‘take from the poor to give to these rich industrialists’.

Rahul was speaking in Bhiwandi after he had got bail in a defamation case filed against him for alleging that the RSS was behind the death of Mahatma Gandhi.

"Mark my words, while all you poor people are standing in line to deposit your notes, the Modi government would soon use this cash to forego the debts of these 15 to 20 industrialists. In the last one year debts of these industrialists worth Rs 1.10 Lakh crore has been written off by the Modi government." said Rahul Gandhi.

Alleging that those close to Modi were being shielded while the poor were facing the brunt of the demonetisation, the Congress Vice-President said, " Action should be taken against black money but what about those close to Modi who have 15 to 20 thousand crore in black money and who fly with him in aircrafts."

Rahul also alleged that while the people were suffering Modi was ‘laughing and crying’ to fool the people.
