RAMNAGAR (West Champaran): In his first visit to poll-bound Bihar, All India Congress Committee (AICC) vice president Rahul Gandhi targeted prime minister Narendra Modi by saying that he is surrounded by people wearing suits only. Rahul was addressing an impressive gathering at "Samajik Samrasta Sammelan" (Social harmony conference), which was organised at Ramnagar in Bihar's West Champaran district on Saturday.

The Congress is celebrating Baba Saheb Amedkar’s 125th birth anniversary at a national level. Former chief minister Lalu Prasad’s son Tejashwi Yadav and JD (U) national general secretary KC Tyagi were present at the conference. "Gandhiji used to wear suits. First he stopped wearing suits. Then he left wearing shirts...Modi wore a Rs 15 lakh suit. Ek taraf Gandhiji dusari taraf Modiji," he said.

Meanwhile, JD(U), RJD and the Congress on Saturday decided that RJD and JD (U) will contest on 101 seats and Congress on 41 seats.
