Rahul Gandhi pitches for regime change in MP, calls for caste census
Rahul Gandhi, a leader of the Indian National Congress, has called on the people of Madhya Pradesh to vote out the BJP government, claiming that the state has become a center of corruption under their rule. He promised that if the Congress is vote...

Playing up the OBC card once again, Gandhi accused the Narendra Modi government at the Centre of neglecting the socially backward sections of the country and said the Congress would conduct a caste census once it was voted to power.
Addressing Congress party's 'Jan Akrosh Yatra' at Shajapur, Gandhi claimed that many farmers in the state had committed suicide due to debt issue, and projected the neighbouring Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh as one caring for its farmers.
"The Madhya Pradesh government is not giving the right price to the farmers for their crops. Go and ask the farmers of Chhattisgarh how much money they get for the paddy crop. What we promised, we completed it," he said, adding that the Congress led by Kalam Nath would lead the state back to the road of development and progress.
Harping on the caste census and the OBC issue, Gandhi said: "When I asked the question how many Dalits, OBCs, tribals are there in the country, they (government) had no answers". He accused the Modi government of not disclosing the information on caste data.
