Rahul Gandhi has all qualities to be PM: Jyotiraditya Scindia

NEW DELHI: Congress leader and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Saturday said that Rahul Gandhi has all the qualities and capabilities to be the Prime Minister.

"I am not undermining anyone but I am saying that Rahul Gandhi should be Prime Minister. He has all the qualities and capabilities to be the PM," Scindia said. Scindia further said that the whole country wanted Gandhi to be next PM.

"It is not the aspirations of the Congress party alone, aspirations not only of the youth of the country but all people of the country that he should get to the helm," he added.

When asked whether Manmohan Singh should resign and Gandhi should be PM, Scindia said, "Manmohan Singh is the prime ministerial candidate of the Congress and absolutely once again will be the Prime Minster of the country. You asked for my personal opinion and I gave you my personal opinion," Scindia added.
