Saurabh said he received an unexpected call informing him that Gandhi wanted to hand over a new motorcycle to him in Patna on September 1, the day the Congress leader concluded his march. Initially hesitant, Saurabh and his father travelled to the state capital to confirm the news.
At the Income Tax Roundabout in Patna, Gandhi briefly stopped on his way to Gandhi Maidan and personally handed over the keys of a new motorcycle to Saurabh.
“I am happy to get a brand new motorcycle, the same model as the one I lost. I am touched by the gesture coming from such a senior leader,” Saurabh said.
Rahul Gandhi is currently leading the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar, a campaign aimed at highlighting issues of unemployment, social justice, and the rights of citizens. The march has seen him interact directly with people through rallies, roadshows, and bike rides, as part of the Congress party’s broader outreach to strengthen its connect with youth and rural voters in the state.
