Rahul Gandhi defames India abroad: BJP
New Delhi: The BJP on Tuesday mounted a sharp attack on Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of hatching a conspiracy to defame India's institutions while abroad.

Terming Gandhi's overseas engagements as "anti-India," BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh said a deliberate attempt was being made to malign the country on foreign soil. "A conspiracy is being hatched to defame India's institutions abroad. They are defaming the country and, at the same time, glorifying China," Chugh told ET.

BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala called Rahul Gandhi a leader of propaganda.
