Rahul Gandhi cannot bring about a change in political phases: Amit Shah

BJP President Amit Shah today said in an interview with Times Now that Congress President cannot bring about a change in political phases.

"I don't believe the Congress President can bring about a change in political phases. India has moved away from the politics of caste, nepotism and appeasement and the political phases have already been decided in the country," said Shah during the interview.

Shah also said that people have the right to choose the 'Pandavas' in a democracy.


"The right to choose the 'Pandavs' in a democracy belongs to the people of the country and the people decided who the 'Pandavs' are in 2014," added Shah.

Shah also clarified over the repeated allegation by Congress party over Rafale jet deal. "Rafale deal includes various aspects including the quality of weapons. We are buying the aircraft with much higher capability. These are technical things. It's easy to make allegations," said Shah.



Talking about recent bypoll loss, Shah said that BJP will bounce back to win these seats in next election. Shah also said that PM Narendra Modi will contest 2019 Lok Sabha polls from Varanasi.
