‘Traitor walking by’: Rahul Gandhi taunts MoS Ravneet Bittu, Bittu retorts with 'Desh Ke Dushman'
A sharp war of words broke out between Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday outside Parliament, as protests by Opposition MPs continued near the Makar Dwar.

As Bittu walked past the protesting Congress MPs, Rahul Gandhi was heard calling him a “traitor”, saying, Here is a traitor walking right by. Look at the face…

Rahul Gandhi then extended his hand towards the Union minister and said, Hello brother, my traitor friend. Don’t worry, you will come back (to Congress).

Bittu refused to shake hands and was seen responding sharply, uttering Desh ke dushman… as the two leaders briefly exchanged words before moving away.

The confrontation drew the attention of several MPs and security personnel present at the scene, though no physical altercation was reported. The incident comes amid heightened political tensions between the ruling BJP and the Congress during the ongoing Parliament session.

On Wednesday, the Lok Sabha was adjourned amid heavy sloganeering by Opposition members over the suspension of eight MPs a day earlier during the Budget Session. The House is set to resume at 12 pm.

The suspended MPs were seen protesting outside Parliament, holding placards that read “PM is compromised.” Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has made similar allegations while speaking to the media on the India–US trade agreement.
