Rahul Gandhi questioned who authorised and approved changes to online Form 6 and whether TCS was pressured to implement them, while Jairam Ramesh made separate allegations about the changes.
New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday asked whether the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) were "pressured" to make the contentious change in the online Form 6 and sought to know who at the Election Commission of India (ECI) ordered it and who at TCS signed off on it.

"The online Form 6 was changed illegally as the EC's own commissioners have recorded. Who at the ECI ordered TCS to make that change? Who at TCS signed off on it? And were they pressured into doing it," Gandhi asked in a social media post.

Tagging Rahul Gandhi's post, Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh alleged, "Form 6 changes were introduced by CEC unconstitutionally in mid-July 2026 to remove Gen Z voters from the electoral rolls. Clearly, the move was orchestrated by the PM-HM duo'."
