Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently addressed a recurring question about his marital status during a visit to Srinagar, where he engaged with Kashmiri women students. In a candid exchange shared on his YouTube channel, Gandhi was asked about the pressure to get married. With a smile, the 54-year-old leader acknowledged, "I have outlasted that pressure for 20-30 years."

Gandhi’s marital status has long been a topic of speculation. During his visit to Jammu and Kashmir last week, the conversation inevitably turned to the subject of marriage. When asked if he plans to marry, Gandhi responded, "I don’t plan it, but if it happens..."

The women responded with a chorus of requests for an invitation if he decides to tie the knot. Gandhi promised with a smile, "I will," eliciting laughter from the group.

The topic had also surfaced earlier this year during a rally in Rae Bareli, where Priyanka Gandhi had prompted her brother to address the question of his marriage, leading him to say, "Ab jaldi karni padegi" (It will have to be done soon).
