Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sajjal Chakraborty said all government offices will remain open on Saturday and Sunday following the oath-taking ceremony.

RANCHI: The newly-elected BJP legislature party leader Raghuvar Das will take oath on December 28 as Chief Minister of Jharkhand and all government offices will remain open tomorrow and Sunday.

Governor Syed Ahmed will administer the oath of office and secrecy at the Birsa Munda Football Stadium here, an official release said.

A separate release quoting Chief Secretary Sajjal Chakraborty said all government offices will remain open on Saturday and Sunday following the oath-taking ceremony.

Das will head the tenth government in Jharkhand's 14-year history and will be the sixth individual to be CM after Babulal Marandi (once), Arjun Munda (thrice), Shibu Soren (thrice), Madhu Koda (once) and Hemant Soren (once).
