Raghuvar Das illegally took away JVM MLAs: Nitish Kumar
BOKARO: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today accused his Jharkhand counterpart Raghubar Das of illegally taking away Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) MLAs after forming government.

"When Raghubar Das formed government, he took away JVM MLAs, which is immoral and illegal under anti-defection law," Kumar said in JDU's workers' convention here.

BJP had 37 MLAs of its own and had formed government in the state with the help of MLAs from Sudesh Mahto's AJSU. After six JVM MLAs joined BJP in February last year, the alliance is much more comfortably placed in the 81-member Assembly with 48 MLAs.

"Jharkhand will develop when Babulal Marandi becomes chief minister," Kumar said.
