Quota leader Manoj Jarange Patil to work against ruling Maha alliance
Maratha leader Manoj Jarange Patil's deadline for the Mahayuti government to include the Maratha community under the OBC category has expired. Patil warned of heavy defeat in the upcoming assembly polls if demands are not implemented.

Maharashtra assembly polls are to be held in October-November.
"We would put candidates in all the 288 constituencies of the state and ensure that all their (ruling party MLAs) lose the elections. We don't want to enter politics, but if we put up candidates then 100% you (ruling parties) would be defeated. The defeat would be such that the ruling alliance would be repenting for life if they don't accept our demands," warned Patil. He had given a deadline of July 13 to the state government to implement two of his demands, including putting all Marathas in the OBC category by recognizing them as Kunbis.
