Quota bill historic, will end feeling of injustice: PM Narendra Modi
The PM hoped that the Rajya Sabha would “respect the people’s feelings” and clear the 10% quota in the way the Lok Sabha did.

“I want to congratulate the country because the (quota) bill would give the common poor a 10% reservation. Every community should get an opportunity to prosper, the feeling of injustice should end, the poor may be from any region, but they should get the fruits and opportunities of development,” Modi said in Solapur.
The PM hoped that the Rajya Sabha would “respect the people’s feelings” and clear the 10% quota in the way the Lok Sabha did. “Those engaged in vote-bank politics for getting minority votes were claiming that we are planning to remove reservations for Dalits, Adivasis and OBCs. But by giving a separate reservation of 10%, we have ensured that there’s justice for everyone.”
He insisted that the Citizenship Bill would favour those who love their country, and clear the path for them to get India’s citizenship.
