Quick guide to election dates in UP, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur

Five states will go to poll early 2017 and the Election Commission on Wednesday announced the crucial dates. Following is a quick reckoner to all the important dates.

UP - Poll in seven phases

Phase I, 73 constituencies
Date of notification: January 17; Last date for filing nomination: January 24; Scrutiny of nomination by January 25; Withdrawal by January 27, Date of polling: February 11

Phase II, 67 constituencies
Date of notification: January 20; Last date for filing nomination: January 27; Scrutiny of nomination by January 28; Withdrawal by January 30, Date of polling: February 15

Phase III, 69 constituencies
Date of notification: January 24; Last date for filing nomination: January 31; Scrutiny of nomination by February 2; Withdrawal by February 4, Date of polling: February 19

Phase IV, 53 constituencies
Date of notification: January 30; Last date for filing nomination: February 6; Scrutiny of nomination by February 7; Withdrawal by February 9, Date of polling: February 23

Phase VI, 49 constituencies
Date of notification: February 8; Last date for filing nomination: February 15; Scrutiny of nomination by February 16; Withdrawal by February 18, Date of polling: March 4

Phase VII, 40 constituencies
Date of notification: February 11; Last date for filing nomination: February 18; Scrutiny of nomination by February 20; Withdrawal by February 22, Date of polling: March 8
