Punjab reshuffle: 14 IAS officers transferred in Punjab
CHANDIGARH: In a major reshuffle, Punjab government has issued transfer and posting orders of 14 IAS officers, including three deputy commissioners, of the state with immediate effect.

IAS officer Mandeep Singh Sandhu, who was available for posting, has been appointed the principal secretary, animal husbandry, fisheries and dairy development, an official release said today.

Dharam Vir, principal secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission has been made the principal secretary, defence services welfare.

GK Singh, director general, school education has been appointed commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Ludhiana in place of Pardeep Aggarwal, who will swap the charge with GK Singh.

Amit Dhaka, deputy commissioner, Hoshiarpur will be the new managing director of Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation.

Ravinder Sharma, chairman of the Punjab Pollution Control Board will be the new deputy commissioner of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, whose deputy commissioner Anindita Mitra, will now be the deputy commissioner of Hoshiarpur.

Manpreet Singh Chatwal, director of State Transport, will take over as the chairman of Punjab State Pollution Control Board.

Six PCS officers have also been transferred in the state, the release stated.
