Punjab IAS officials to donate a day's salary for Jammu and Kashmir flood relief fund

CHANDIGARH: IAS officers of Punjab have decided to donate one day salary for Jammu and Kashmir flood relief fund.

Disclosing this here today, Suresh Kumar, President, Punjab IAS Officers Association, said IAS officers of Punjab have decided to express their solidarity with the flood affected people of Jammu and Kashmir by this gesture.

Gurkirat Singh, General Secretary of the Association, has requested Vikas Partap, Secretary Personnel, to issue instructions to all Drawing and Disbursing Officers to deduct one day salary from the September pay of IAS officers and forward the same to J&K flood relief fund, Kumar said.
