The 88-year-old CM of Punjab suffered from chest spasm after he had just concluded the Sangat Darshan at village Behloor Kalan yesterday.

CHANDIGARH: The condition of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, who was admitted to PGIMER here last night following complaints of uneasiness in the chest, was today stable.

"His condition is stable," officials at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) said.

"Badal, who spent the night in the hospital, was kept under observation and after examining him, the doctors will take a call on discharging him," they said.

The 88-year-old suffered from chest spasm after he had just concluded the Sangat Darshan at village Behloor Kalan yesterday.

He was taken to a private hospital at Nawanshahr for a check-up from where he was shifted to the PGIMER.
