Pulwama Attack: India calls its envoy from Pakistan for consultation

As per media reports, Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria today has been called to Delhi for consultations in the wake of yesterday's Pulwama attack.

Prior to his current appointment, Bisaria earlier served as the Private Secretary to the then Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Earlier in the day, India summoned Pakistan's top envoy and lodged strong protest over the killing of nearly 40 CRPF soldiers in the Pulwama terror attack carried out by Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).


JeM has claimed responsibility for the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday that left at least 40 CRPF soldiers dead and five others critically wounded.

Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale summoned Pakistan High Commission to India Sohail Mahmood and lodged strong protest over the killing of the CRPF soldiers in Pulwama, official sources said.
