The Puducherry State Planning Board adopted a draft plan estimating that as much as Rs 2000 crore would be required as the outlay for fiscal 2013-2014.
The Board met under the chairmanship of the Lt Governor Iqbal Singh with Chief Minister N.Rangasamy, his ministerial colleagues, among others, participating.
The document would be placed before the Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission at a meeting in New Delhi sometime in second week of June.
