Puducherry CM N Rangasamy pays tribute to Rajiv Gandhi on his 70th birth anniversary

PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister, N Rangasamy, his ministerial colleagues and legislators paid floral tributes today at the statue of former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion of his 70th birth anniversary.

Speaker V Sabapathy, freedom fighters and officials also paid homage and took the "Sadhbhavana (communal harmony) pledge" administered by the Chief Minister at the venue.

Opposition Congress led by PCC Chief, A V Subramanian held a function at the party office in which leaders and volunteers of various wings of the party, the legislators and freedom fighters paid homage at the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi.
