Iconic composer Ilaiyaraaja, celebrated athlete PT Usha, Indian philanthropist Veerendra Heggade and screenwriter V Vijayendra Prasad Garu were nominated to Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated those nominated to Rajya Sabha on Twitter.
