Protests over Moga molestation case, Telangana HC demand by TRS disrupt Lok Sabha
After the Speaker dismissed the notice for adjournment motion on the ground that the House had already discussed the incident

As soon as the House convened, Congress members led by Captain Amarinder Singh and AAP members raised the issue of gruesome death of a girl after she was pushed out of a bus when she complained against molestation. Singh demanded the Chair suspend the question hour and allow his adjourment motion on the Moga issue, something Akali Dal members opposed.
After the Speaker dismissed the notice for adjournment motion on the ground that the House had already discussed the incident, Congress and AAP members rushed to the well of the House and forced an adjournment of the House.
This even as TRS members too were protesting, demanding the Centre keep its word and announce a high court for Telangana.
When the House reconvened, the protests continued. Finally, Speaker allowed TRS member Jitender Reddy to speak and he demanded the government immediately make an announcement in the House about the promised high court for Telangana.
Law minister Sadanada Gowda said aPIL on the matter had tied the hands of the government and that issue would be sorted out within 15 days which failed to satisfy the TRS members who insisted the PIL was disposed of by the court last Sunday. On his part, Amarinder Singh said the Moga incident was culmination of breakdown of law and order in Punjab and accused the Badal government and family of unleashing terror in the state. The Akali Dal members protested against this remark.
