Prohibitory orders in Srigangangar, Hanumangarh districts

Prohibitory orders have been issued in Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh districts as a precautionary measure following a clash between Dera Sacha Sauda followers and Sikhs at Dabwali in Haryana on Friday which left one dead.

JAIPUR: Prohibitory orders have been issued in Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh districts as a precautionary measure following a clash between Dera Sacha Sauda followers and Sikhs at Dabwali in Haryana on Friday which left one dead.

Jawans of Rajasthan Armed Constabulary, STF and police personnel have been deployed at all sensitive places and the situation is being monitored round the clock in the two districts where both Sikhs and and Dera Sacha Sauda followers have substantial presence, a top Home Department official said.

Prohibitory orders came into force in the two districts last night, he said but added there is no tension prevailing anywhere.
