Professional activities in residential areas allowed

NEW DELHI: Professional activities have been allowed from residential premises in the capital, the Lok Sabha was informed on Friday.
Professional activities are permissible in residential premises and group housing under certain specific conditions as per the Master Plan of Delhi 2021, Minister of State for Urban Development Ajay Maken said in a written reply.
Professional activities shall mean those activities involving services of professionals like doctors, architects and chartered accountants, company secretaries, cost and works accountants, engineers, town planners, media professionals and documentary film makers.
