The BJP leader alleged that Banwari Lal Kushwaha, a relative of the former minister, either has or had directorship in 19 companies.
"It has been observed that financial transaction of these companies increased four times. Moreso, several companies or bank accounts have ceased to exist," he alleged.
Somaiya alleged that Kushwaha's other relatives were also directors in various companies.
The BJP leader said that he had a detailed discussion with the senior officers of the CBI wherein documents of 1500 pages were submitted.
"We have told CBI that we are ready to provide more information and evidence as required," he said.
"We appeal Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Finance Ministry and Enforcement Directorate to look into the affairs of these companies at the earliest," he said.
