Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra hailed the defeat of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill as a "victory for democracy" during a news briefing today in Delhi. She challenged the Prime Minister to immediately implement 33% reservation on the existing 543 seats, accusing the government of using the bill as a "conspiracy" to bypass a caste census and alter India's electoral map through delimitation.
