Privilege motion against 2 editors not allowed to be withdrawn
The House had admitted the breach of privilege motion against Nikhil Wagle, editor of IBN Lokmat and Rajeev Khandekar, editor, ABP Majha for allegedly using derogatory language against legislators.
"Due procedure in the motion would be followed," he said.

The editors had slammed the legislators and questioned their integrity. The event had led to an uproar in the legislature and prompt reactions in the state. Five MLAs from assembly were suspended for their involvement in thrashing a police sub inspector during the budget session last year.
Congress legislator Bhai Jagtap had moved the breach of privilege against the editors.
