Prime Minister's presence could help Parliament function better: Survey

A poll conducted shows that people feel that India can't afford disruptions and adjournments of the House and the prime minister's presence could help it function better.

In a poll on disruptions in the House, 95% of the respondents said they were concerned about disruptions.
With the Monsoon Session of Parliament starting today, a poll reveals what people think of the frequent disruptions of the House and what are the reasons which lead to it. Here's the survey:

An overwhelming 89 per cent voted that India can't afford disruptions and adjournments of the House with over 60 bills pending.

Ninety-five per cent of the respondents are concerned about frequent disruptions in Parliament.

Sixty-one per cent of those who participated in the survey felt that Prime Minister's participation would help the Parliament function better.

Sixty-two per cent believe that the opposition is to be blamed for the disruptions in last several sessions.
