Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address two election rallies in Tripura on Thursday

This is the first political rally of Modi in Tripura after he became Prime minister in 2014. Modi had inaugurated a power plant in Tripura on December 3, 2014.

Prime minister, Narendra Modi will address two election rallies in Tripura on Thursday. Prime minister will address rallies in Sonamura and Kailashahar.

This is the first political rally of Modi in Tripura after he became Prime minister in 2014. Modi had inaugurated a power plant in Tripura on December 3, 2014.

BJP in Tripura said that people will come out in huge number to see the Prime minister. The gathering according to the state unit will be unprecedented.


National Executive Member and Tripura State InCharge, Sunil Deodhar told ET, “We have witnessed jam packed crowd during party president Amit Shah’s rally. Prime minister’s rally will get overwhelming response in the state.”

Modi will also led a roadshow in Agartala on February 15. BJP has aligned with NC Debbarma led faction of Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT). In 60 member assembly BJP will contest 51 seats while its ally will contest 9 seats.
