Prime Minister Narendra Modi hands over social media accounts to seven women achievers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi signed off today from all his social media accounts for a day and handed them over to seven women achievers who will share their journeys with everyone.

"Greetings on International Women’s Day! We salute the spirit and accomplishments of our Nari Shakti. As I’d said a few days ago, I’m signing off. Through the day, seven women achievers will share their life journeys and perhaps interact with you through my social media accounts," the Prime Minister tweeted.

March 8 is celebrated as International Women's Day.



Prime Minister Modi will also interact with Nari Shakti awardees today.

The awards are given to individuals and institutions that work towards women empowerment. President Ram Nath Kovind will give the awards today.
