Prime Minister Narendra Modi hails BJP workers in Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand on poll outcome
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hailed BJP workers in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand, saying the results of Assembly polls in these states were an outcome of their hard work and selfless dedication.

"My congratulations to the BJP Karyakartas of Jharkhand and J&K. The results are the outcome of their hardwork & selfless dedication," he tweeted as the election results showed a remarkable performance by BJP in these states.

Referring to Jammu and Kashmir, he said the record turnout in the polls there "showed people's faith in democracy. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for placing their confidence in BJP".



With regard to Jharkhand, he said the people of the state have "voted for stability, which is essential to realise the true potential of the State. I congratulate them."

His tweet came when the party was set form the government on its own in the state which has seen political instability ever since it came into existence 14 years back because of fractured mandate all along.
