Prime Minister Manmohan Singh speaks to Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley on India-Pakistan relations

PM assured the leaders that the Opposition would be taken into confidence on any important decision related to safeguarding India's security.

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday spoke to Leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj and her Rajya Sabha counterpart Arun Jaitley on the strained Indo-Pakistan relations, following the beheading of an Indian jawan by the Pakistani forces.

The prime minister assured the leaders that the Opposition would be taken into confidence on any important decision related to safeguarding India's security. National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon is expected to brief the two leaders on Tuesday.
