Prez arrives at Hyderabad on 20-day southern sojourn

HYDERABAD: President Pratibha Patel arrived here this afternoon on a 20-day southern sojourn.

The President who flew-in here from Chennai was received by Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari and cabinet ministers, judges, civil and defence officials.

During her stay here at Rashtrapathi Nilayam, the President itinerary includes local functions as well as engagements out of the state.

She leaves here on January 7 for Delhi. Earlier on her arrival the president was accorded a ceremonial reception.
