Presidential polls: Left parties to arrive at a decision on June 21
"We have not decided anything, but we don't want to support a candidate fielded by Congress or BJP." T J Chandrachoodan said today.
Asked whether his party would propose a name at the meeting, he told reporters at the end of the party's two-day central committee meet here: "We have not decided anything, but we don't want to support a candidate fielded by Congress or BJP."
Alleging that the Centre's proposed Food Protection Bill was "unjustified" and was "anti-people," Chandrachoodan said his party would organise protests across the country, which would culminate in a dharna at Delhi's Jantar Mantar between July 30 and August 3.
