President Pranab Mukherjee wishes Sonia Gandhi on her 69th birthday

NEW DELHI: President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday wished Congress President Sonia Gandhi on her 69th birthday and praised her for her "immense service" and "stellar contributions" to all aspects of public life.

In his message, the President expressed hope that she continues her "dedicated" service to the nation for many more years.

"I extend warm greetings and good wishes to you on your birthday. During your long span of public life, you have rendered immense service to the country. You have made stellar contributions to all aspects of public life.

"I compliment you on your accomplishments and wish you the very best for the coming years. May the Almighty bless you with good health, happiness and many more years of dedicated service to the nation", the President said.
