President Pranab Mukherjee to visit Manipur today

IMPHAL: Manipur government has put in place elaborate security arrangements in view of President Pranab Mukherjee's visit to the state here today.

The President will attend the 60th anniversary celebration of the Adimjati School here this evening.

Additional forces have been deployed at the school and the police and para military forces are on patrol round the clock at vulnerable places, the sources said.

The President will arrive here around 5:00 PM and stay here overnight.
