President Pranab Mukherjee to address Pravasi Bhartiya Divas tomorrow

NEW DELHI: President Pranab Mukherjee will address the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas tomorrow in Kochi.

"Mukherjee will undertake a one-day visit to Kerala (Kochi) on January 9 to deliver the Valedictory Address at the 11th edition of the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas Convention," a Rashtrapati Bhavan press release said.

The President would also confer the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards, it said.

Pravasi Bhartiya Divas (PBD) is celebrated on January 9every year to mark the contribution of overseas Indian community in the development of India.
