President Pranab Mukherjee pays tribute to martyrs on Independence Day

President Pranab Mukherjee today paid tribute to the martyrs at Amar Jawan Jyoti here on the occasion of the country's 66th Independence Day.

NEW DELHI: President Pranab Mukherjee today paid tribute to the martyrs at Amar Jawan Jyoti here on the occasion of the country's 66th Independence Day.

The President laid a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate to mark the occasion.

Mukherjee was accompanied by chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force.
