President Pranab Mukherjee congratulates Indian cricket team

NEW DELHI: President Pranab Mukherjee today congratulated the Indian cricket team after the victory over South Africa in the World Cup in Melbourne.

India defeated South Africa by 130 runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground to break their World Cup jinx of never winning against the Proteas in the mega-event.

"Congratulations on your second victory in ICC World Cup 2015; the first ever win against S.Africa in World Cup matches," President Mukherjee tweeted soon after the team's victory.
