NEW DELHI: President Pranab Mukherjee today strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Tunisia as he termed it a "senseless act".

He said that such actions against humanity "must be met with determination and collective action by the world community."

The President assured the Tunisian government and its people that India stands with them in dealing with this menace as he conveyed his condolences to the grieving families and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Gunmen stormed Tunisia's national museum in the capital city of Tunis, killing 19 tourists and others yesterday.
