President Pranab Mukherjee condemns Kathua terror strike

NEW DELHI: President Pranab Mukherjee today condemned terror strike on a police station in Jammu region and asked security forces to remain vigilant against any threat to peace and security of the nation.

Expressing condolence to the grieving families of those who lost their lives in the attack, the President called upon security forces to remain vigilant against any "threat to the peace, prosperity and security of our nation."

President Mukherjee also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Militants stormed a police station in Kathua district of Jammu region this morning killing four people including three security personnel.
